NEW ISO 9001:2015
Dear All DQS Certification Indonesia Customers,
According to the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the ISO Committee on Conformity Assessment (CASCO), the transition period for the revision of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 has been set to three years from the publication date of ISO 9001:2015.
The end of the three year transition period for ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004+Cor1:2009 is set to the 14 Sept. 2018 (based on the official release date of ISO 9001:2015).
That means all new certificates according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004+Cor 1:2009 will get the expiry date of 14 Sept. 2018.
As ISO 9001:2008 forms the basis for the ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard, the expiry date of certificates to ISO/TS 16949:2009 have to correspond to the end of the three year transition period for ISO 9001:2008 certificates. (=14 Sept. 2018).
In case of ISO/TS 16949 program, the IATF Database will be modified accordingly on Sunday, 4th October 2015 to reflect this maximum expiration date for ISO/TS 16949:2009 certificates. The update will automatically set the expiration date to the 14 September 2018. The certificates have to reflect this new expiration date as well. All certificates and relevant IATF Database entries being already issued/entered with an expiration date beyond the 14 September 2018 have to be revised and updated accordingly.
A Rules 4th Edition SI to officially inform all interested parties, will be released next week on the IATF Global Oversight website.
The IATF is defining a transition strategy from ISO/TS 16949:2009 which will be released at a later date.
